Goal & overview

We are merging two established brands — Allergomedica and FoodID — into a unified identity for international expansion. The new brand, Self.co, will position itself as a modern, accessible, and science-driven platform for allergy and food intolerance testing, helping users move from symptoms to clarity. The goal is to create a brand that communicates clinical credibility while remaining personal and human-centric — balancing scientific trust with emotional connection.

Visual Concept

The Self.co visual identity is rooted in clarity through abstraction — using geometric forms to express complex biological processes in a clean, modern, and approachable way. The goal is to make medical testing feel empowering and personal rather than clinical or distant. The design direction reflects both the precision of science and the softness of human experience.

Key Ideas:

  • Geometry as metaphor: Overlapping circles suggest focus, zooming in, and a lens on the self — visually symbolizing allergens, molecules, and environmental triggers.

  • Motion & particles: Subtle use of movement and dynamic forms connect to ideas of dust, air, and immune response — a nod to the invisible yet impactful nature of allergies.

  • Scientific but human: Abstract shapes and clean lines maintain a modern, research-based look while remaining accessible and user-friendly.

  • Color balance: A mix of “edible” hues (suggestive of food and nature) with medical tones (electric hues, purples, neutrals) to bridge the emotional and clinical.

  • Personality in polish: The identity avoids extremes — neither sterile nor overly playful. Instead, it strikes a confident middle ground that feels trustworthy, intelligent, and emotionally resonant.
